Professor Yood's scholarship and teaching look at writing in our culture, and how it intersects with epistemology, politics, education, technology, and pedagogy. In addition to teaching a variety of undergraduate writing courses, Prof. Yood also teaches contemporary literature and M.A. and Ph.D. courses in literary, rhetorical, and composition theory and practice. She has been a co-coordinator of the Writing Across the Curriculum program at Lehman since 2000 and helped create the new Writing in the Majors program at the College. Writing and rhetorical theory and practice understood in relation to cultural and epistemological changes, the history of English studies in America, contemporary literature.
