AUDIT SUMMER PROGRAMS 2014
Internship Program:
The Deloitte & Touche LLP summer internship provides an introduction to audit. Throughout the program, participants will focus on issues shaping and affecting the profession today as well as topics related to their own career development. Counseling is another aspect of the Internship Program. At the end of each engagement, interns will have the opportunity to review their performance with management. Additionally, staff will serve as "counselors" to this year's intern group. Counselors serve as a vital source of information and advice as well as participating in many of the social activities planned for the interns throughout the summer months.
Mentor Program:
The Mentor Program is a multi-session summer program for selected students that have demonstrated exceptional leadership skills combined with strong academic performance. Meetings will occur in an appropriate timeframe that will allow students to accept summer internships elsewhere. All formal sessions will be held in a local Deloitte office. During these sessions, students will participate in workshops and team activities geared towards bringing out the leadership skills and potential of each participant. All participants will be assigned a mentor. Mentors will provide participants with general career and industry-related advice as well as insight into Deloitte. Throughout the program, participants will be formally evaluated. Based on these evaluations, an opportunity for future employment may be offered.

TAX SUMMER PROGRAMS 2014
Internship Program:
The Deloitte Tax Summer Internship is a summer program that provides an introduction to Tax. Throughout the program, participants will focus on issues shaping and affecting the profession today as well as topics related to their own career development. Counseling is another aspect of the Internship Program. At the end of each engagement, interns will have the opportunity to review their performance with management. Additionally, former interns will serve as "mentors" to this year's intern group. Mentors serve as a vital source of information and advice as well as participating in many of the social activities planned for the interns throughout the summer months.
Mentor Program:
The Mentor Program is a program for selected students that have demonstrated exceptional leadership skills combined with strong academic performance. Candidates will meet during the summer at the Deloitte Tax offices. During these meetings, students participate in workshops and team activities geared towards bringing out the leadership skills and potential of each participant. Students will be assigned a mentor who is Deloitte Professional in the Tax practice. Based on the evaluations given after this program, students may be offered either an internship or full-time position depending on date of graduation.

Above is a link to a video clip of a corporate presentation by J. Walter Thompson, the fourth largest global marketing firm in the world. On October 25th, 2012, Jinal Shah, the firm's Digital Strategy Director spoke to business students about the professional life of a marketer. Students gained firsthand insights into possible career paths and learned about different types of assignments and clients that professionals at a major firm collaborate with. Students also had the opportuntiy to expand their network of professionals in marketing, and students have subsequently applied for jobs at J. Walter Thompson.
