Professional Bio

Prior to joining the Lehman faculty, Dr. Petkov worked as an auditor at KPMG for almost five years. He has been involved in quarter, year-end audits, and SOX engagements for major U.S. and foreign, public and private companies. His main areas of expertise are in oil and gas, service and manufacturing and retail. Dr. Petkov's research interests are in accounting and valuation for internally generated intangible assets, specifically intellectual capital. He is licensed as a CPA in New York State and also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
