Positions held since graduating:   

GIS Analyst at the Fire Department of New York City - I help in the production of  operational maps for special events, as well as administrative maps for Fire/EMS companies, creation of risk models, development of indices, data cleanup/analysis/visualization, assessment of mapping capabilities in various BI (Business Intelligence) softwares, and conduct geospatial analysis.

GIS Analyst with PhD Candidate at the University of Edinburgh - As part of a PhD research study on Landscape Fragmentation Analysis within the Glasgow Metropolitan Region and Helsinki, Finland I help in the production of maps, data cleanup/analysis/visualization, and conduct geospatial analysis 


Overall assessment of how Lehman’s EEGS Program prepared you for your current life: 

Lehman's GIS program was successful in preparing me for my current work; its major strength is in the diversity of course material which allowed me to adapt to every task that has come my way.


Comments on the EEGS Dept Program you were enrolled in:

While interacting with different GIS professionals I find that I am more knowledgeable and experienced than my peers. I believe this speaks to the success of Lehman's GIS program.

What else have you been up to? 

I have been networking with GIS professionals internationally, working on independent projects, and preparing for full time employment.
