- Academic Interests: Research, teaching and mentoring students.
- Research: My main research approach is two-fold, theoretical and practical. Theoretically, I utilize the immigration phenomenon to test and construct theories of second language acquisition and acculturation. Practically, my research findings bear on issues such as education, mental and biological health of immigrant children. I conduct both laboratory and field studies to investigate these issues.
