Please don't pick my name!

One week can make a big difference. The Conquistadores now occupy first place. Josué Cofresi boasts that his group is self-motivated. Congratulations Conquistadores!

There was a rule change this week. Students were randomly chosen for rounds one and two. When the names were picked out of a bag, students sat in rapt silence. This was the only time students did not want their names picked.

Now for part four...

Mr. Chessler surprised everyone with the length of his questions. One of his questions had thirteen parts! Let’s hope that his questions do not get any longer.

Good Luck to all!

Do you know:

I learned a lot about physics. It was fascinating, especially the part about fuel cells.

Ke Xing Chen (BX. Finest)

I’ve never done anything like this before. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity. I’m especially interested in forensic science.

Ivie Itua (BX. Finest)

It is amazing how this program broadened my mind in a variety of subjects. I never thought I’d dissect a shark.

Katherine Oriol (Bubonic Plague)

Jenson Thermadam

This is my fourth year in the MASTER Program. I graduated from DeWitt Clinton High School in June and will attend the Watson School of Engineering this fall at Binghamton University. I plan to major in mechanical engineering and hope to one day work on cars for a living. Through the MASTER Program I have been able to work on a fuel cell car and I want to pursue this area in college. I would like to wish Group A good luck and I know we can do well in this competition if we stay focused and study hard.

This shark just had lunch.

Oh, that shark bite!

I know who did it.

Are you sure it is dead?
