Nina Ibanez - Group D

Nina Ibanez

recently graduated from DeWitt Clinton High School, having spent four joyous years in the MACY Honors Program. While the college admission process and my regular schedule wreaked havoc during my senior year, I am happy to announce that I finished high school with a relatively firm grip on my sanity. This fall I will be attending Wesleyan University in Connecticut, where I hope to continue my quest for knowledge.

This is my fourth year in the MASTER program. This year I have worked as a group leader. I am the Group leader for the best- looking group - Group D (D Block!). Hopefully they will be able to demonstrate that their great looks are directly proportional to their academic ability by winning this year’s summer academic Olympics.

for their team and a thesaurus. This week’s "Good Citizens" are:

José Vargas

I thought the program was excellent. I especially liked the physics class.
Emily Peña

It was a good experience. It taught me how to trust my peers.
Jesus Mena

I developed new ways of looking at my education.
Brian Broomfield

The program was very helpful. I never had so much experience with science. I made some friends.
Manuela Ankonah

We were not only able to work with other students, we worked together solving thought-provoking questions. This was an excellent way to get out of the house and do something interesting.
Ravindra Deonauth

The program exposes you to the science of today.
Sejdo Mulic

I want to be a group leader!
