Susana Reisz

Academic Interests: Ancient and modern literary theory, contemporary Spanish American poetry, and minority writings in the Hispanic world

Research: Her theoretical and critical work ranges from Greek tragedy and the origins of literary theory to the present debates on the humanities and the latest developments of feminist literary theory, women's writings, gay and lesbians' writings, and contemporary Latin American poetry. I am currently working on an anthology of Peruvian Women Poets.

Honors: In 1996 Prof. Reisz won an award in the area of Literary Theory from the Argentine Konex Foundation, which honors exceptional artists and scientists in ten categories since 1980.
