The Music Technology Center at Lehman College

The Music Technology Center at Lehman College is a state-of-the-art facility consisting of professional audio hardware and software. Students learn the history of electronic music, notation, synthesis and acoustics, digital audio recording and engineering, and interactive music systems.

Undergraduate and graduate students are given continued access to the center after completing the basic courses in electronic music. The center's technology is based on Macintosh platforms equipped with Digidesign Pro Tools hardware and software, additional professional audio processing and mastering software, MAX/MSP interactive real-time software, MIDI synthesizers, and the latest computer music research applications.
