Advising Days with Extended Hours
Advisors will be available in academic departments at the following times:
We encourage graduate students to make steady progress toward their master’s degrees. Frequently, however, graduate students need to complete undergraduate-level courses that are not counted toward the credits needed to complete their degrees. This situation occurs for two common reasons:
Undergraduate students registering for graduate-level classes must register in person.
Occasionally, qualified undergraduate students are permitted to register for graduate-level classes. In order to register for a graduate course, students in bachelor’s degree programs must have the permission of the department offering the course.
Graduate courses taken for undergraduate credit
Undergraduate students desiring to register in graduate courses for undergraduate credit must see the Department of Academic Standards and Evaluation/Undergraduate Studies (Shuster Hall 280). Graduate courses taken for undergraduate credit will be credited toward the bachelor’s degree and the grade will be counted in the grade point average. Graduate courses taken for undergraduate credit cannot be transferred into a future master’s degree program.
