-Faculty Registration Instructions-

The CUNY Portal is a gateway to CUNY applications, services, and other CUNY college web sites, and can be accessed from the CUNY home page. The CUNY Portal uses an active faculty member's personnel record to build a unique username and password during the registration process. Only faculty who are on file with the college will be recognized by the Portal. If you cannot register for a Portal account, please contact the Human Resources Office to verify that your information is correct in eCUPS.   To create your CUNY Portal account, please follow the instructions below.

-How to Register on the CUNY Portal-

STEP #1. Click on the Log-In link on the CUNY Portal homepage. This opens the Portal Log In screen.

STEP #2. Click on the Register Now! link.

STEP #3. Click the Faculty link.

STEP #4. On the User Validation Screen you must enter your Last Name, Social Security Number and Date of Birth. Click Next to confirm your entry.

STEP #5. Confirm the information you entered on the next screen.

STEP #6. On this screen, you may accept the given username or change it, select and confirm a password and enter a valid and ACTIVE email address. Your email address will be used to communicate a new password to you in the event you forget your password. Make sure you write down your username & password and store them in a safe place! You will need them each time you login to the Portal! Once you have entered all your data, click the Save button.

STEP #7. You are now brought back to the Portal Login screen with the message stating "You have successfully completed the registration process. Now you can log into the portal" button. Re-enter your username and password data and click the Log In button.

STEP #8. Congratulations! You have successfully created your account and are now logged onto the CUNY Portal. The "MY PAGE" section of the Portal displays a listing of important features such as: eSIMS ePermit Blackboard You may click through to these and additional applications that will be made available in the coming months.
