Screens for a new Blackboard course
When you log into a new Bb course, you first see the following screen:
the title bar shows you that I did this with Netscape as a browser
the next bar shows where you are: Bb uses a course_id rather than a
course name
(the next two bars, irrelevant, showed on my computer when I captured
screen)
Bar 6 has the college logo, as well as some buttons, the most important
of which is Logout.
The tab Courses is highlighted.
Next on the screen, on the left, is the Menu: from Announcements to
Control Panel.
On the right, is a line that shows you where you are: in which course,
and on which menu option:
here we are in the course named ITR Training Course 2, in Announcements.
(by default, Announcements is selected from the Menu at left when you
first get into a BB course)
As you see, there are no announcements yet.
When you click on Course Information, you see that the folder is empty:
You get the same for Staff Information, Assignments, External Links.
The screen for Communication has a list of options. Notice that the
Discussion Board is listed both here and on the Main Menu.

Screen for Course Map: this is a little window on top of the main
screen, repeating the student options listed on the MainMenu.
