Add an announcement:
Click on Control Panel, Announcements, Add Item. You see the
following screen.
Note that it needed two screen captures to show the four parts:
1. Announcement Information: The Subject is required. Click into the
box and enter data.
The Message, in a so-called textbox, is not required. To learn how to
enter one,
click on using
the textbox.
2. Options: not required; they are mostly self-explanatory. Do you want
to add offline content? Select Yes only if you want to link to a CDROM
which must be on the student's computer. Do you want to add Metadata?
Select Yes and a Describe button will appear so you can add a
description.
3. Course link: not required. You might try Browse and a trial and
error or success test.
4. Submit: required to upload the announcement to your Bb course.
