Link to an existing sound file: it must be in the same folder


Type your text and select it. Click Insert, Link, Browse, choose your audio file, click OK.

The sound file used here is called 00b10001.wav -- the file size is 62 kb. Make sure that the extension is shown (here, it is ".wav").

Now save the file as ....html. Click Browse. Click on your text to test if the link works.

Upload both the html file and the sound file to your webpage.

Please note: these are .rmi format files, associated with RealPlayer on my computer. In the dialog window, choose Open with -- then browse for RealPlayer.
(My default player, Windows Media Player, does not work with an .rmi file.)
