The mission of The GPS Program (Go. Persist. Succeed.) is to shape the integral groundwork for the academic journey of Lehman students, and ensure growth and success in all facets of their intellectual, personal, and professional development. GPS strives to provide its students with supportive and enriched learning environments leading to a successful college transition, academic achievement, and retention towards graduation.
Founded in the Lehman College tradition of access to excellence, The GPS Program will be a national leader in the development and assessment of a dynamic and enriched learning environment of student achievement. The GPS Program will continue evolving to best meet the various needs of our students and institution, with emphasis on taking students from freshman year to the finish line.

- Promote an environment that fosters interdisciplinary studies, collaborative teaching, and commitment to life-long learning.
- Foster connections between students and enhanced support services, including academic advising, career development, financial aid planning, academic support, and personal counseling.
