*FCS 672: Economic Problems of Family.
3 hours plus field study, 3 credits. Study of the economic status of American families with respect to incomes, employment, housing, and social security. Factors affecting cost of living. The contribution of resource management to the economic welfare of families. Consideration of methods and materials for the teaching of family economics and home management. PREREQ: FCS 316 and 307 (or equivalents).
