*EDE 630: Psychology of Development and Learning in Elementary Education.

3 hours, 3 credits. A beginning course for students who have not taken a course in educational psychology. Study of theories and research regarding development and learning from birth through early adolescence, with application to the elementary classroom. Classroom teaching discussed and evaluated in relation to theories, research, and professional development.
