For Faculty & Staff
The eight classrooms in the Academic IT Center may be reserved for instructional and training purposes with priority given to Lehman College undergraduate and graduate classes.
For a brief orientation to the “smart” classroom technology in the classrooms, contact Stephen Castellano, Online Teaching and Learning Technology Specialist, at
- Phone: 718-960-8658
Instructors may also want to contact their own departments to learn about departmental and divisional technology-equipped instructional facilities to which they have access to.
To reserve a classroom, send e-mail to email@example.com, and include the following information:
- discipline, course code, section and 4-digit registration number
- days and times
- instructor name
- contact information
- required software
The Academic IT Center will not provide access to classrooms in the absence of confirmation from the Registrar. Classrooms will only be opened when the instructor is present and no earlier than 10 minutes prior to the scheduled start of the class.
The Academic IT Center classrooms are in heavy demand. As a courtesy to your colleagues and students in other classes, please only reserve classroom time that you expect to use. Notify ITR support staff at firstname.lastname@example.org if you need to cancel an occasional session. Notify the Registrar by sending e-mail to email@example.com if you need to make a permanent change to your reservation.
Instructors are responsible for instructing students in the proper use of the hardware and software and leaving the room in the condition in which they found it. Students are not to be left unattended for long periods in the classrooms.
Laptops must work on their own power and not be connected to any outlet nor should any cables be disconnected in the classrooms. Instructors who wish to attach their own notebooks to the projector should contact Information Technology Center staff for assistance.
No eating or drinking allowed in IT Center classrooms or Open Center.
No cell phone usage allowed in IT Center classrooms or Open Center.
