Self-Service Password Management

The Division of Information Technology provides access to computing and related technologies in support of the College's instructional, research, and administrative activities.

Visit our login page, (the screen below will appear)

Registering your Lehman email account

1. Click on the Register Account button
2. The page below will appear

 

3. Enter your LDAP user name, (e.g. john.doe)
4. Enter your current LDAP password.
5. Enter a new password, which will become your LDAP/email password upon successful completion of the registration process.
6. Type your new password again where it says Confirm New Password.
7. Select four questions and enter the answers in the box directly below it.

Please note: Your new password has to have at least eight characters, and must contain at least one upper case letter, one lower case letter, and one number.

Also the answers to all four chosen questions must be unique.

8. Click the Submit button.

Once you have successfully registered your Lehman account, you will receive a message shown below.

Resetting your account password

1. Click on the Reset Password button
2. The screen below will appear.

3. Enter your Lehman LDAP user name.
4. Click the Submit button
5. The screen below will appear.

6. Answer the questions and then click the Submit button.
7. The below screen will appear.

8. Enter a new password
9. Retype the new password where it say Confirm New Password
10. Click the Submit button.
11. You will receive the below message.

Changing your password

1. Click on the Change Password button
2. The screen below will appear.

3. Enter your Lehman LDAP user name.
4. Enter your current Lehman LDAP account password.
5. Enter a new password, confirm it, and then click the Submit button.

Please note: Your new password has to have at least eight characters, and must contain at least one upper case letter, one lower case letter, and one number.

Test Your Account

You may test your account after you have reset or changed your password.

1. Click on the Change Password button
2. The below screen will appear

3. Enter your Lehman LDAP user name.
4. Enter your current Lehman LDAP account password and then click the Submit button.
5. You will receive the following message.
