2005 Career Expo, March 2 in APEX

Career Expo
Bring your resume and interviewing skills to the 2005 Career Expo on Wednesday, March 2, from 2-5 p.m. in the APEX auxiliary gym. Over 40 employers from all over the tri-state area will be on hand to accept resumes and answer questions from Lehman students and graduates.

Sponsored by the Career Services Center, the Expo is held each year on campus during the first week of March. Last year, some 450 students and alumni participated. According to the director of the center, Nancy Cintron, about 30 percent of the participants received interviews, while about 25 individuals received job offers.

"This is a great opportunity for our students and alumni to network and learn about the different organizations that are out there," she says. "The Expo is also a good source for students seeking internships."

Radio Shack Corp., Frito-Lay and New York Founding Hospital are just some of the employers participating in the Expo.

There is no pre-registration. Just bring your resume and a Lehman I.D. and wear proper interview attire. To learn more about the Expo and view the entire list of employers, visit the Career Services website.
