Lehman Chamber Players to Give Free Concert Oct. 9

The Lehman Chamber Players will open the musical season at Lehman College with a performance of works by Beethoven, Dvorak and Castelnuovo-Tedesco on Sunday, October 9, at 2 p.m. The concert will be held in the Recital Hall on the third floor of the Music Building. Seating is limited.

Featured will be critically acclaimed cellist Andre Emelianoff, who is on the faculty of the Juilliard School; violinist Anton Miller, professor of violin at New York University and the Hartt College of Music in Connecticut; and pianist Diana Mittler-Battipaglia, professor of music and choral director at Lehman College.

The program will include the Phantasie Trio by John Ireland; Trio in E minor, opus 67 by Shostakovich; and Trio in B flat, opus 99, by Schubert.
