New Exhibit Offers Sweet Delights

Vadis Turner, "Cupcakes," 2006 mixed media
From a waterfall made of candy wrappers to an assortment of cupcakes made of thread, the installation features twenty-eight artists whose work deals with sweets in its imagery or in its medium. The collection includes photography, video, drawing, painting and sculpture installations. Created within the last ten years, the works offer a range of recent contemporary art dealing with various subjects.
