Apply for National Internship Program by Feb. 23

The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) is accepting applications for its summer 2007 National Internship Program. The program is designed to help college students gain professional development experience that will enable them to make educated career choices. All applications must be received by Friday, February 23. There is no application fee.

More than 40 federal agencies and corporations will participate in this summer session, providing over 400 internship opportunities in Washington, DC, and in field locations throughout the U.S. Federal agencies and corporations will begin selecting students through April. Applicants are screened and selected based on their field of study, goals, academic performance, and extracurricular activities. Supervisors at participating federal agencies or corporations make the final selections; however, HACU makes the official offer of employment to the student.
