April 19 Lectures to Celebrate Asian-Pacific Heritage

In honor of those of Asian-Pacific heritage, the Women's Studies Program will present a free day-long focus on Japan on Thursday, April 19, in Room B39 of Carman Hall.
The event will feature Professor Sue A. Kawashima of Hunter College, presenting "A Japanese Woman's Experiences in Japan and America" at 11 a.m., and Professor Noriko Watanabe of Baruch College, speaking on "Japanese Feminist Poetesses" at 2:30 p.m.
