Committee Drafts New Mission, Vision, Values Statements for College

After almost a year of thoughtful, deliberate work, a committee of senior and mid-level administrators has provided the College with three draft statements (PDF) on the Mission, Vision, and Values of Lehman College. During its work, the committee met periodically with small groups of faculty, staff, students, alumni, and friends of the College. We are now at the stage where we invite comment from the Lehman community as a whole. Before you read the actual statements, I urge you to look through the document (PDF) entitled "The Mission, Vision, and Values Planning Context," which provides useful background information on the purpose and history of these statements.
