Lehman Mourns the Loss of Florence Lawler

The Lehman community mourns the recent death of staff member Florence Lawler, 70, who worked at the College for 23 years and also served as president of Lehman's Irish Cultural Club. A resident of Yonkers, she was the former president of the St. John's Rosary Altar Society and of its Home School Association, and was the recipient of the Hall of Fame Award for exceptional parish service.

She is remembered by both students and colleagues as a warm and compassionate friend who touched many lives.
