Prof. Bullaro a Guest on 'Italian-American Writers'

Professor Grace Bullaro
In Beyond Life is Beautiful, Professor Bullaro compiled essays focusing on Benigni's foundations as a comedian and on the film itself. Wertmuller, the successful film director who became the first woman to be nominated for an Oscar in 1976, is the focus of her second book.
Born in Salerno, Italy, Professor Bullaro earned her undergraduate degree at City College and graduate and post-graduate degrees from SUNY Stony Brook. Her academic interests include French and Italian literature, cultural movements, existentialist philosophy, Italian cinema, and gender studies.
