Playwright David Henry Hwang to Visit Lehman Feb. 27

David Henry Hwang
Hwang is a contemporary American playwright whose works focus on the role of the Chinese American and the Asian American in the modern world. He is the author of over a dozen works, including M. Butterfly and Yellow Face.
A graduate of Stanford University, Hwang attended the Yale University School of Drama. He won an Obie Award in 1980 for his play, FOB (Fresh Off the Boat), and an Outer Critics Circle Award, Drama Desk Award, John Gassner Award, and Tony Award for M. Butterfly.
Previous guests interviewed on "Conversations" have included playwrights Edward Albee and Arthur Lawrence, Metropolitan Opera star Barbara Resnik, and composers John Corigliano and Mark Adamo.
