History Professor to Speak about the Black Panther Party Feb. 28

Professor Robyn C. Spencer (History) will speak on "Revolutionary Black Womanhood and the Black Panther Party" on Thursday, February 28, as part of the Women's Studies Program's Spring Lecture Series. The talk is free and open to the public and will begin at 12:30 p.m. in Room 221 of Carman Hall.

Professor Spencer joined the Lehman faculty last year. She previously taught African and African American studies and history at Penn State University. Her areas of interest include black social protest after World War II, urban and working-class radicalism, and gender.
