The installation features the works of fifteen area artists who rearrange familiar objects like chairs and end tables into unconventional tableaus. Among the issues raised by these hybrid works are functionality, the "found" object, handmade vs. mass-produced, and subversion of intent.
The exhibit will run from now through May 15. The Gallery is open Tuesday through Saturday, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. For more information, call 718-960-8731.
