Women's Studies Program Celebrates Asian-Pacific Heritage April 9
Directed by Professor Yu-Chiung Teng, the ensemble is the oldest and largest Chinese orchestra in the United States. Founded in 1961, the ensemble has more than forty-five members who play almost every type of Chinese musical instrument. The Ensemble's main objective is to introduce the music of China to Western audiences.
