Media Job Fair May 8

Students interested in exploring careers in journalism will have a chance to meet with industry professionals at the Spring 2008 Media Job Fair on Thursday, May 8, from 2-6 p.m. in the East Dining Room.

Representatives from Univision, Telemundo, NY1 News, News12, NBC 4, ABC 7, Dow Jones, The New York Times, and Entertainment Weekly will be on hand to speak to students about employment possibilities, including internships and part-time/full-time opportunities, and to give advice on this changing profession.

The fair is sponsored by Minorities in Media, the Lehman chapter of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists, the Meridian, and the campus radio station, WHLC. Students must dress in appropriate attire and bring at least ten resumes.
