Fifth Annual Fun Run/Walk Raises Most $ Yet

Lehman held its Fifth Annual Fun Run/Walk on Saturday, May 3, to benefit the Leonard Lief Library and the Child Care Center. Members of the Lehman community raised over $2,000, which will be used to add to the Library's collection and to help summer students paying Child Care Center fees. In the event, some participants ran, while others walked around the Jerome Park Reservoir. Sophomore Nathaniel Gasque, who works as a college assistant in the Career Services Office, helped spearhead the event with Amanda Dubois, coordinator for Community Service/Service Learning and New Student Orientation. "I'm extremely proud," says Gasque. "The event had the most participants and raised the most money ever." Following the run/walk, participants celebrated over lunch at the APEX.
