Lehman Community Donates to Myanmar Relief Effort

A sympathetic passerby donates a dollar to the Myanmar relief effort overseen by peer educators Jody Alain Lacson (l.) and Augusto Alarcon (r.) To raise funds, the College’s Office for Community Service/Service-Learning and New Student Programs teamed up with Thirst Aid, a not-for-profit organization that aims to educate people on the need for safe drinking water. A total of $177 was collected—each dollar donated will be used to provide a one-year supply of water to one child in Myanmar.
