Summer Offerings Combine Fun and Learning

Lehman College and CUNY on the Concourse will offer opportunities this summer to earn undergraduate or graduate credit, acquire new skills, and also to have fun. The schedule includes courses in foreign language, personal development, and career preparation, several types of professional certification programs, and "Kidz at Lehman" for children six to fifteen.
During Lehman's two summer sessions, the Department of Languages and Literatures will offer courses for credit in elementary Arabic, French, and Spanish. The sessions will run from June 2-July 1 and July 7-August 5. Students must register for these courses by Tuesday, May 27. Visit www.lehman.edu/lehman/lehman-summer/registration.html.
Non-credit classes in Spanish, French, and Italian will be offered through Lehman's Continuing Education program, along with opportunities to develop personal interests in other fields, including culinary arts, dance, creative writing, fine arts, acting, singing, guitar, swimming, tennis, racquetball, digital photography, and coin collecting. For the schedule of these classes, visit www.lehman.edu/ce/pdf/persdevel.pdf.
Through Lehman's Continuing Education programs, professional certification programs also will be given in allied health, health information management, alcohol and substance abuse counseling, business and finance, and computer information technology.
