Dr. Ruth Westheimer Honored at Annual Bronx Ball

Dr. Ruth Westheimer with Bronx Borough President Adolfo Carrión (l.) and Lehman President Ricardo Fernández at the Annual Bronx Ball. Dr. Westheimer was inducted into the Bronx Walk Hall of Fame for her contributions to the borough. Although she has been a long-time resident of Manhattan, Dr. Westheimer maintains strong ties with the Bronx—for several years she taught at Lehman, and in 2001 she received an honorary doctorate from the College.
