9/11 Commemoration Ceremony

Lehman College will hold its annual ceremony in memory of those who died during the September 11 attacks this Thursday at 10:30 a.m. in front of the 9/11 memorial, located on College Walk in front of Shuster Hall.
The program will begin with a rendition of God Bless America, sung by student Raymond Diaz and the campus community. Erica Matthews, executive assistant to the dean of Arts and Humanities, will deliver welcoming remarks, followed by an Invocation by William Hill, associate director of Financial Aid.
President Ricardo R. Fernández will also speak, followed by a performance of Taps by faculty member Armando Rodriguez. Rodriguez will then lead the audience in singing Let There Be Peace on Earth. The tolling of the Lehman College Bell will close the ceremony.
