The City University of New York is partnering with the New York State Department of Civil Service to help generate employment opportunities for CUNY graduates. Eligible candidates—CUNY graduates who have received a baccalaureate degree before or by August 31, 2009—are encouraged to take the Professional Careers Test (P.C.T.) for positions in health administration, budgeting, personnel administration, and more.

The deadline to register for the exam is midnight Monday, January 5. To apply, visit www.cs.state.ny.us.

To help test-takers achieve their best score, CUNY will offer a P.C.T. preparation course. The course consists of five sessions offered at four CUNY campuses plus a mock exam at the School of Professional Studies on February 28.
