Professor John Corigliano
This is Professor Corigliano's third Grammy—the first two were for String Quartet and Rage and Remembrance: Symphony No. 1. A recipient of the Pulitzer Prize in Music, the Grawemeyer Award, and the Academy Award for his score for the film The Red Violin, Professor Corigliano is regarded as one of the world's leading composers of orchestral, chamber, operatic, and film music, as well as a master teacher both at Lehman and at the Juilliard School, where he also teaches.
