Film and Panel to Discuss LGBT Student Needs

Envisioning Justice: The Journey of a Transgendered Woman
The panel will discuss what teachers, school counselors, and building leaders can do to affirm lesbian, bisexual, gay, and transgendered students in K-12 settings. Members of the panel will include Dr. Pauline Park, chair of the New York Association for Gender Rights Advocacy; Professor Larry Tung, filmmaker at Kean University; Lehman Counselor Education/School Counseling Professors Stuart Chen-Hayes and Tamisha Bouknight; Lehman Middle and High School Education Professor David Fletcher; and Theresa Wyre-Jackson, assistant principal at the High School for Writing and Communication in the Bronx.
