Free Screenings Offered in Wellness Festival May 5
Free screenings for blood sugar, blood pressure, cholesterol, and HIV testing are among the services that will be offered. Over twenty organizations will be on hand to distribute health information and free giveaways, such as water bottles and contraceptives. Participating organizations include Montefiore Medical Center, Hispanic AIDS Forum, Epilepsy Foundation, WIC, and the New York City Gay and Lesbian Anti-Violence program.
On Monday and Tuesday, May 4-5, the College also will host its annual blood drive in the Music Building's East Dining Room, from 12:30-5:30 p.m. An I.D. is required to donate blood.
