- Ellis Island
- The Irish Hunger Memorial at Battery Park

- Plus other excursions related to Famine immigration as time permits
$1,100 (with graduate credit); $900 (for auditors)

Commonly asked questions:
- We will travel to Manhattan sites as a group using public transportation. Participants will be given a Metro Card for local transportation. Above fee also includes ferry ride to Ellis Island and all museum entrance fees.
- Prof. Maureen Murphy will lead the group. Ms. Elaine Ní Bhraonáin, Program Coordinator for the Institute, will assist in the arrangement and educational program during the trip.
- Registration is completed through us. If you are a Lehman College or CUNY student, please do not attempt to register for the course through e-SIMS or e-Permit.
- The tuition is for graduate level. If non-graduate students want to audit the course, the cost is $900. Those wishing to take the course for graduate credit and who are not CUNY students will need to register with the Lehman College Registrar as a non-matriculated student (this will require a one-time fee of $100).
- Please note that rooms are sharing. Please phone Elaine if you would like us to try to reserve a single room for you.
- Individuals currently matriculated as graduate students should seek advisement from their program coordinators if they wish to try to use this course as an elective.
