CUNY Grad. Center:

The CUNY Graduate Center is located on Fifth Avenue between 34th and 35th Streets. It is easily accessed via the B, D, F, N, R, & Q trains at Avenue of the Americas and 34th Street or the 6 train at Park Avenue South and 33rd Street. Graduate Center is two blocks east of Penn Station.

Lehman College:

Lehman College is located at 250 Bedford Park Boulevard West and is accessible via the 4 or D train to Bedford Park Boulevard. By car, the Van Cortlandt Park South exit off the Major Deegan Expressway (I-87) or the Mosholu Parkway exit off the Bronx River Parkway or the Saw Mill (Henry Hudson) are recommended.

The CUNY Institute for Irish-American Studies at Lehman College presents The Great Irish Famine Tour and Lectures to be held April 24-30, 2005 (NYCDOE & CUNY Spring Recess). This is a graduate course (3 credits) especially designed for Social Studies Teachers in New York State schools. Prof. Martin Burke will lead the group. The participation fee includes coach transfer to and from Dublin Airport, six nights B&B at the Markree Castle Hotel (double occupancy) and daily excursions to famine sites. The cost is $1,500.
