• Overview

- The Institute serves as a clearinghouse for research opportunities in Irish-American Studies for students, staff, and faculty on all of the campuses of the City University of New York. There are currently 63 faculty members in the CUNY system who have expressed research interests in Irish and Irish-American Studies. There are 29 courses in Irish & Irish-American Studies offered at the senior colleges and about 55 graduate students have completed doctoral dissertations at the Graduate Center touching on Irish and Irish-American issues. In addition to Lehman College, the Institute maintains formal relationships with academic programs at the Graduate Center and Queens College.
