Summer in the City

Tuition and Fees

Undergraduate Tuition
  • New York State residents (matriculated): $170 per credit
  • Non-degree New York State residents: $250 per credit
  • Non-resident / foreign students (matriculated): $360 per credit
  • Non-degree, non-resident / foreign students: $530 per credit
Graduate Tuition
  • New York State residents: $270 per credit,
    plus $65 per contact hour in excess of credits
  • Non-residents / foreign students: $500 per credit,
    plus $85 per contact hour in excess of credits
Fees (Registration)*
  • Student Activity Fee (per session): $30
  • Technology Fee (per session): $37.50
  • Consolidated Fee (payable by all students): $15
  • Undergraduate Application Fee: $60
  • Graduate Application Fee: $125

The above fees are non-refundable, but payable only at the time of the application is filed for admission to any CUNY college.

*For all other fees, including late fees, visit the Bursar's Website. All fees, tuition charges, credits, and course contact hours listed are subject to change. Students will be obligated to pay the correct amount. Financial aid recipients who incur a tuition liability after registration due to a reduction in aid or withdrawal from class will be personally responsible for payment of that liability.

Refunds

Students may receive 100% tuition for voluntarily dropping a class up to, but not including, the first day of the session. If a request for a refund is submitted by mail, the refund will be based on the date it is received in the Registrar's Office. The student activity fee, parking fee, and other special fees are not refundable.

Dropped Course Refund Schedule
  • 100 % for withdrawal from course(s) before the first day of the session
  • 100 % for withdrawal from course(s) to register at another CUNY unit
  • 100 % for withdrawal from course(s) due to military obligation (contact the Bursar's Office for details)
  • 100 % for withdrawal from course(s) due to college cancellation of a student's registration or course
  • 50 % for withdrawal during the first week of the session
  • 25 % for withdrawal during the second week of the session
  • None for withdrawal during the third week of the session
  • None for withdrawal after the third week of the session (the Form "A" /census date is the last day of this period
Payment

Once students have registered for their summer course(s), they can pay either online at http://www.lehman.edu/provost/registrar/esims_payment.html or by printing and completing the form available at http://www.lehman.edu/provost/registrar/payfrm.html. This form can be either mailed or faxed to the Lehman College Bursar’s Office. There are no deferred tuition payments in Summer Sessions. Credit cards are accepted.
