Amanda Dubois, Coordinator, Community Service/Service-Learning
Amanda Dubois is the coordinator of Community Service/Service-Learning in the Office of Career Services. She has a B.A. from Bridgewater State College in her home state of Massachusetts and an M.A. in higher education administration from New York University, where she previously worked as a community development educator in residential education. She is a researcher and educator in the area of the sophomore experience and has over ten years of experience in higher education programs.
The Community Service/Service-Learning program is designed to engage students in volunteer projects. To this end, Dubois has worked to develop partnerships between Lehman and local agencies to assist local community members in need of support. She has also formed relationships with the High School for Pregnant and Parenting Teens, Montefiore Medical Center, Visiting Neighbors, and the Bowery Residence Committee.
