Professor Sanford to Speak in Florida and NYC About Her Research on Feminicide

Professor Victoria Sanford, who's on leave from her faculty position in Lehman's Department of Anthropology, will speak on February 11 at Florida Gulf Coast University about her research on feminicide, the contemporary killing of women, in Guatemala.

Professor Prohaska Elected to Board of Eastern Psychological Association

Professor Vincent Prohaska (Psychology) has been elected to the Board of Directors of the Eastern Psychological Association. He will serve a three-year term beginning June 1, 2010.

Spotlight on Our Departments

The Department of Nursing at Lehman College is one of twelve academic departments within the Division of Natural and Social Sciences. The program admitted its first students in 1971. The Department of Nursing offers undergraduate and graduate nursing programs to a culturally diverse student body. Our undergraduate nursing program has both a generic program and a registered nurse completion program.
