The Lehman community is working on several fronts to help the victims of Haiti's devastating earthquake:
  • A "Lehman College Haitian Relief Fund" has been established, with tax-deductible contributions benefitting the Red Cross.
  • Non-perishable food and medical supplies are being collected for distribution in Haiti. Collection sites include the Office of Campus Life, Campus Life Building, Room 222; Office of Community Service, Shuster Hall, Room 208; Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs, Shuster Hall, Room 204; and the Student Health Center, T-3 Building, Room 118.
  • A "Lehman Sauve Haiti" (Save Haiti) Committee has been formed by a group of more than forty students, who have designated February 22-26 as Haiti Aid Week, with activities planned to raise funds for quake survivors as well as call attention to the nation's plight.
  • Student athletes are collecting donations to help support a Pennsylvania church, whose orphanage was destroyed in the quake.
