Publications

The Institute for Literacy Studies produces curriculum resources, monographs, and evaluations related to literacy and mathematics education. In these works we consider the challenges of supporting educational reform from the perspectives of classroom teachers, school administrators, professional developers, university faculty, adult educators, youth and family workers, and parents. We have two aims for these publications: to provide educators and policy-makers with usable knowledge regarding teaching, learning, and professional development, and to ensure that practitioners' voices are represented in ongoing dialogues about curriculum, teacher quality, learner assessment, and educational leadership.

Publications by program staff (book chapters, articles, etc.) may be found under each program.
