Lehman College introduces ePermit.  ePermit is CUNY's online application to obtain permission to register and attend classes at another CUNY college. Starting with Spring 2005 Registration, ePermit will be the only way to apply for a permit. In-person, paper permits are no longer available. The ePermit application is available through the CUNY Portal. You must have a CUNY Portal account in order to apply for an ePermit.

To apply for a ePermit, follow these 4-simple steps:

  1. Login to your CUNY Portal account.
  2. After logging in, scroll down "My Page" and click on the'ePermit' link.
  3. The 'ePermit' page will open. Re-enter your 'Username' and 'Password'
  4. Detailed instruction are displayed on how to use ePermit. Click on 'Create New Permit', located on the left menu.
